MHCA Is Relevant Today!

In June 1968 certain households in Mason Hill had the foresight and established the Mason Hill Citizens Association (MHCA).  Over the past 45+ years community members have played a vital role in representing the interests of Mason Hill and helping enhance our community and through our annual business plan we focus on issues that are most important to Mason Hill.

When a concern emerges we work together and use the resources available within our community to resolve the issue.  It helps us strengthen our community and we become better neighbors when we help each other out.

Through the MHCA we can:

  • Achieve common goals
  • Provide a common voice and an effective means of communicating with government officials
  • Make input about events happening in our area and take part in the decision making process
  • Help work for the preservation and improvements in our neighborhood
  • Plan and hold social activities
  • Address potential safety concerns and organize neighborhood improvement projects

We all can play an important role in the health, safety and spirit of Mason Hill and your participation in the MHCA is the best way to ensure that we improve the quality of our neighborhood.  There are many opportunities for people to become involved:

  • Attend meetings
  • Volunteer for activities
  • Help represent MHCA on the MVCCA or Fairfax Federation
  • Become a MHCA member
  • Attend social events

Increasing citizen participation benefits our whole community by creating an environment of shared responsibility and collaboration. We look forward to working with you in supporting Mason Hill.
